About WCA
Westminster Christian Academy, a ministry of Westminster Presbyterian Church, is a full-day child care and preschool program. We provide year-round care for children from newborn to five years old. WCA is licensed by Bright From the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning. The program began in 2004 and is one of the largest faith-based child care centers in the area.
Our Values
Westminster Christian Academy is a developmental program in which children of any faith are given the opportunity to progress at his/her own level. We believe each child is a unique individual with his/her own pattern of development. We strive to maintain a balanced curriculum that will provide each child with a happy and meaningful experience.
Our Program
The program inspires exploration, investigation and creative expression. Age appropriate toys and manipulatives are available to stimulate the learning process. Our program is based on the knowledge of child development that considers social, emotional, spiritual, intellectual and physical growth of the child. Play is essential to the development of social skills, motor development, and cognitive discovery.
Our Distinctions
Westminster Christian Academy earned a Quality Rating from Quality Care for Children. A Quality Rating is awarded to child care centers who meet rigorous standards of care above minimal state regulations.
